Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on security and compliance.
• Experience managing technical programs in a cloud or infrastructure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience in scaling processes and frameworks across large engineering organizations.
• Experience in driving process improvements and operational efficiency efforts.
• Familiarity with cloud security principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of common security and compliance standards and regulations (e.g., IL5, FedRAMP).
• Passion for leveraging AI/ML to solve operational issues.

This involves collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and ensure clear communication with cross-functional partners across the company. The ACI Security and Compliance team is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager, Security and Compliance to spearhead critical security and compliance programs within Google Cloud's core infrastructure. Your focus will be on strengthening the security posture, maturing and scaling security and compliance processes, and ensuring services meet the stringent requirements of regulated markets. This role involves horizontal collaboration across engineering and product teams to implement security best practices, enhance the security and compliance framework, and manage programs comprehensively.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors like job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional security and compliance programs by collaborating with Engineering, Legal, and the Cloud CISO to define scope and deliverables.
• Drive the continuous improvement and scaling of Security and Compliance frameworks while spearheading initiatives to reduce operational toil through AI and automation.
• Translate complex security and compliance requirements, such as FedRAMP, GDPR, and HIPAA, into actionable plans and technical engineering work.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across the organization’s services and infrastructure.
• Facilitate communication and alignment across teams to ensure clarity on goals and timelines while leading security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
