As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.As a Senior Technical Program Manager in the Network Capacity Infrastructure (NCI) team, you will direct program strategy and lead teams to deliver business, operational, and technical improvements. You will be responsible for motivating teams behind strategic ideas and navigating pivots to retain stakeholder trust.

Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning frameworks for portfolios, translating high-level organizational initiatives into detailed execution plans while influencing critical resourcing decisions.
- Navigate ambiguity to drive cross-functional programs involving stakeholders across multiple teams and product areas.
- Manage cross-functional relationships to align on outcomes, influence without authority, and build trusting alliances with executive leadership.
- Establish and optimize portfolio management systems that drive global operational consistency and measurably support the organization’s return on effort.
- Structure problems and conduct research to develop business cases and recommendations for senior leadership.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in program management.
- 10 years of experience within infrastructure or networking domains.
Preferred qualifications
- 10 years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving organizational impact.
- Experience leading change management and maintaining program velocity during shifting priorities.
