About the role
About the Role
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Google's network provides services to millions of internet users around the world. Our metros are on the edge of our network where Google connects to its users. The Network Teams are responsible for operating that network reliably and at scale. The team owns the full life cycle of all space, power, and network assets in all of Google’s data centers and metro points of presence globally. From the foundation, the team is involved from site acquisition to construction and is accountable for what space and power is delivered. Once that infrastructure is delivered, the team is involved in every facet of network delivery from architecture and design to installation, configuration, activation, and commissioning.
In this role, you will serve as the program owner for the Base Networking Trusted Partner Cloud (TPC) portfolio, driving the successful delivery of physical, control, and management network infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) partners.
