About the Role
At Google, as a Senior Survey Scientist, you will collect and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to drive insights that help shape products for billions of users worldwide. You will work cross-functionally with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and other UX Researchers to prioritize and execute research efforts across multiple product areas within the Search team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent product research including survey design and qualitative analysis.
- Collect, analyze, and report on user behavior using sophisticated survey techniques.
- Utilize programming languages (Python, R, MATLAB, etc.) for data manipulation and computational statistics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings to leadership.
- Incorporate technical and business requirements into actionable research insights.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with at least 6 years product research experience, particularly in survey design and data analysis. Preferred candidates hold advanced degrees and have significant UX research experience collaborating with executive leadership and managing projects in large organizations.

Compensation
This full-time position includes a base salary range of $151,000 to $222,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Additional factors such as location and experience will be considered during the hiring process.
