About the Senior Staff UX Content Designer, Cloud AI Role at Google
As a Senior Staff UX Content Designer, Cloud AI, you will champion Google's design philosophy, crafting product experiences with useful, meaningful text that empowers users to complete tasks effectively. You will be instrumental in defining content vision and ensuring cohesive product narratives across various platforms and touch points. Your portfolio should showcase exceptional content that streamlines and enhances the user experience.
This role involves close collaboration with a diverse team including researchers, product managers, engineers, marketing, and customer operations professionals. You will work to establish consistent language and a unified voice across Google's extensive product ecosystem. Regularly employing empathy, logic, and data, you will inform content choices and recommendations, integrating both precise wording and, where appropriate, complementary data and images.

Responsibilities
- Lead content design initiatives for Google Cloud AI, making new features easily discoverable and usable for users.
- Collaborate extensively with product designers, product managers, engineers, UX researchers, data scientists, and marketers.
- Ideate, design, and implement user-centric solutions that not only improve the user journey but also contribute to key growth metrics.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in UX writing, content design, technical writing, writing, editorial, marketing, or related fields, with a focus on leading content strategy projects.
- A portfolio, website, or other relevant work samples must be included in your resume (provide a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred Qualifications
- 12 years of writing, editorial, marketing, or UX writing experience, preferably in an agency setting with executive leadership interaction.
- 7 years of experience within a complex cross-functional technology organization.
- Demonstrated experience with user-focused product writing across hardware, software, digital agency, or other relevant product areas.

Work Location
Applicants for this position will have the opportunity to share their preferred working location from the following options: Sunnyvale, CA, USA; New York, NY, USA; San Francisco, CA, USA; Seattle, WA, USA.
Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $208,000-$293,000, complemented by bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific salary details for your preferred location can be provided by your recruiter during the hiring process. Note that listed compensation details reflect base salary only.
