About the Job

As a Senior Security Architect, Mandiant, Google Cloud, you will be instrumental in assisting clients to effectively prepare for, proactively mitigate, and detect and respond to cyber security threats. This role demands a strong understanding of computer science, operating system functionality, networking, cloud services, and corporate network environments, applying this knowledge directly to combating cybersecurity threats.

You will engage in high-profile incidents, leading incident response remediation and security transformation engagements. Your responsibilities include assessing client networks, applications, and devices, emulating the latest attack techniques to bolster defenses. You will serve as the technical advocate for information security requirements, providing deep insights into the information security domain. The role also involves articulating and presenting complex security concepts to business stakeholders, executive leadership, and technical contributors, successfully leading cross-functional teams.

Mandiant Security Transformation Services focuses on helping organizations build robust security operations programs that minimize organizational risk and reduce the impact of security breaches. With an emphasis on both on-premises and cloud architecture, our consultants conduct initial assessments, on-site workshops, configuration reviews of security controls, and provide detailed technical recommendations to harden environments, enhance visibility and detection, and improve processes to reduce the risk of compromise.

Responsibilities

• Identify solution issue trends and collaborate internally to proactively mitigate future risks.
• Develop improved solution delivery methods and contribute to solution innovation initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define solutions and address escalations effectively.
• Advise on technical best practices, optimize stakeholder processes, and build strategic relationships.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions across multiple security domains.
• Ability to communicate in English fluently, as this is a customer-facing role requiring interactions in English with local stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise security controls in on-premises and cloud infrastructures, zero trust architecture, secure enterprise platforms architecture, identity providers such as Google Cloud Platform, Salesforce, Business-to-Business/Business-to-Consumer identities and collaboration platforms.
• Experience supporting customers to contain and remediate threats during security breaches.
• Ability to assess the security posture of customer on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to transform the security posture of customer environments by improving the security design and architecture.
• Ability to travel as needed.
