Job Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Security Advisor in the Office of the CISO to support the security and digital transformation for enterprises across the APAC region. The role focuses on cybersecurity and cloud security engagements with C-level executives in diverse industry sectors including Financial Services, Technology/Digital Natives, Healthcare, Public Sector, Telecom, Retail, and FMCG/Manufacturing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in cybersecurity or a customer-facing technical security role.
  • 10 years cumulative experience in industries such as Financial Services, Technology, Retail, Manufacturing, Telecom, Public Sector, or Healthcare.
  • 10 years of experience in cloud computing, emerging technologies, or a related role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 12 years of experience in managing security advisory or implementation initiatives.
  • 7 years in a cybersecurity leadership role (CISO, Deputy CISO, Head of IT Security, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with external executive technical leaders and support OCISO's leads.
  • Engage with C-level clients across the APAC region on cybersecurity and cloud security topics.
  • Design and evolve security architectures tailored to critical sectors.
  • Drive thought leadership and extend customer messaging and communications.
  • Collaborate with OCISO's Trusted Architecture function for integrating technical solution designs into enterprise architecture frameworks.
