Overview
Google Cloud, in partnership with Mandiant, is seeking a Senior Red Team Consultant. This role offers cybersecurity consulting services, focusing on offensive security in a hybrid workplace that includes remote work from Virginia, USA.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in cybersecurity with a focus on offensive security, and at least 5 years of experience covering four or more areas such as red teaming, pen testing, purple teaming, network security, web application assessments, social engineering, scripting, tool development, cloud security, reverse engineering, or source code review.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in offensive security (OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CCSAS, CCT INF, or relevant SANS courses)
- Experience in offensive security consulting and business generation
- Proficiency in creating security tools and programming language experience (Python, C#, C/C++, Rust, Nim, etc.)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and public speaking skills
About the Role
As a Senior Red Team Consultant, you will lead offensive technical cybersecurity engagements, including red and purple team assessments, penetration testing, and security evaluations across various environments. Responsibilities include:
- Leading engagements from planning through remediation
- Interfacing with clients and addressing security issues
- Mentoring team members and enhancing technical documentation
- Collaborating with internal teams to expand consulting capabilities
Salary & Benefits
The base salary range for this full-time position is between $132,000 and $194,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation varies based on location and experience.
