About the Role
The Senior Engineering Analyst Trust and Safety at Google is a key position on the Trust and Safety Account Threats team. This role involves rapid incident response to protect billions of users from account compromise, abuse, and emerging threats. You will analyze large-scale data, lead threat hunting initiatives, and collaborate with global teams in Seattle, Zurich, and Bangalore.
Responsibilities
- Drive response for high priority account security incidents and conduct thorough RCAs.
- Utilize large-scale data analysis to identify vulnerabilities and new threat methods.
- Lead automation and process improvements for threat detection and response.
- Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and product teams to implement strategies.
- Manage on-call responsibilities including weekend and holiday coverage.
Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5 years in data-intensive roles (threat intelligence, data science, trust and safety, fraud analysis), project management experience, and proficiency in SQL or Python.
Preferred: Master’s degree in a quantitative field, experience in cybersecurity and incident response, skills in metrics/process design, and excellent communication skills.
