About the Role
As the Senior Director, Third Party Data Center Operations at Google, you will lead a geographically distributed team of operations managers and program managers, responsible for the health, delivery, and efficiency of Google’s Third Party Data Centers. This role demands a strategy focused on technical and operational excellence to meet customer expectations and support the largest cloud computer in the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and development for third party data centers globally.
- Manage vendors for hyperscale electrical, mechanical, and cooling infrastructure operations.
- Oversee incident management programs, including risk mitigation and remediation.
- Engage with customers to ensure their operational needs are met.
- Manage budget, resource planning, organizational development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in data center operations with 20 years of technical management experience, including support operations and team management for 100+ technical resources and vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
10 years of managerial experience and a proven track record in high-performance data center operation roles with escalating responsibilities.
Compensation & Benefits
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $298,000-$414,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation is determined by role, level, location, skills, and experience.
