About the Role
The Senior Data Scientist Research Cloud Planning at Google develops long-term forecasting and pricing capabilities to drive profitability and business growth for Google Cloud.
Minimum Qualifications
A Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative field with 5 years of work experience in analytics, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), database querying, or statistical analysis; or 3 years with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications
8 years of work experience in analytics or 6 years with a PhD degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify business or product questions.
- Translate business questions into tractable analysis and mathematical models.
- Utilize custom data infrastructure and existing data models.
- Design and evaluate models to solve defined problems.
- Gather and compile data from various sources ensuring high data quality.
Compensation & Benefits
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation is determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. Additional details provided during the hiring process.
