You liaise with the product marketing management and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.In this role, you will serve as a key member of the Google Cloud Security technical authority, enabling organizations to outpace through frontline intelligence with planetary-scale analytics while supporting secure, reliable and scalable full-stack solutions from infrastructure to applications.
As a part of the technical authority you will be a vital member of an entrepreneurial team, where you will help define the future of security solutions for organizations of all sizes. By deeply understanding customer needs you will assist in transitioning from reactive measures to true agentic proactive security.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is CAD 194,000-199,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify business opportunities, address key customer technical objections, and develop the strategies to resolve technical blockers in collaboration with the team.
- Deliver in-depth Security expertise to strengthen technical relationship with customers through technology advocacy, bid response support, product solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and direct partnership with product management to prioritize solutions driving customer adoption to Google Cloud.
- Work directly with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution on Google Cloud.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required, acting as a public advocate for Google Cloud.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience in cybersecurity (e.g. threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, Identity and Access Management systems).
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Preferred qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Cloud or Security industry certifications.
- Experience implementing security solutions for enterprises (e.g. threat detection and hunting, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or Identity and Access Management systems).
- Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry (e.g. ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, etc.).
