Overview
Google is seeking a Security Software Engineer to join the Emergent AI Infrastructure team. In this role, you will build next-generation on-prem AI infrastructure and ensure hardware and software security across deployments. You will work on firmware, driver, operating system, networking and services security, collaborating with internal security teams and external partners.

Responsibilities
As a Security Software Engineer at Google, you will:
- Collaborate with internal security teams and external partners
- Develop OS and hardware security features
- Design comprehensive security solutions
- Review and provide feedback on code for best practices
Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 2+ years experience in C++, C, or Python; 2+ years of developing large-scale distributed systems/infrastructure; TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred: Master’s/PhD in Computer Science or related field, 5 years with data structures and algorithms, leadership experience, and accessible technology development.
