About the Security Cloud Consultant Role
The Security Cloud Consultant at Google offers you the opportunity to advise customers on secure cloud solutions and best practices using Google Cloud Platform. You will work with clients to design, implement, and maintain secure architectures, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and addressing network and data security challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver successful cloud security architectures.
- Act as a trusted advisor for customer security and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop best practices and thought leadership.
- Interact with sales, partners, and technical stakeholders to ensure successful client outcomes.
- Travel approximately 30% for client engagements.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, 3 years of experience in secure cloud solutions, network security, data security, and regulatory compliance frameworks. Experience managing projects and working with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications: Cloud security experience in a customer-facing role, background in security architecture or engineering, and experience with frameworks such as FedRAMP, PCI or HIPAA.
