About the Role

The Security Cloud Consultant at Google Cloud is responsible for guiding customers in adopting secure and compliant cloud solutions. You will provide technical expertise to design and implement secure cloud architectures on the Google Cloud Platform and work directly with executive stakeholders such as CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with customer development leads and client executives to deliver cloud security architectures.
• Act as a trusted advisor for security and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to package best practices into thought leadership.
• Manage project scopes, deliverables, timelines and risks.
• Travel approximately 30% for client engagements.

Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 3 years of experience in secure cloud solutions, network security and compliance experience, with proven project management skills in customer-facing roles.

Preferred: Experience in cloud security, security architecture, and engineering with exposure to FedRAMP, PCI, HIPAA, and practical attack and mitigation methods.
