About the Role

The Security Cloud Consultant role at Google Cloud is designed for a security expert with over 3 years of experience in secure cloud solutions. You will provide technical guidance and best practices on secure cloud implementations, automated provisioning, cloud-ready architectures, and more. You will work with clients, including C-level executives, to drive secure cloud strategies and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver cloud security architectures for customers.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud security and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to package and share best practices.
  • Engage with sales, partners, and technical stakeholders to manage project scope and deliverables.
  • Travel approximately 30% for client engagements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in architecting, developing or maintaining secure cloud solutions.
  • Experience with network security, data security, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Proven experience managing customer-facing projects with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cloud security with a customer-facing role.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud environments and security architecture.
  • Experience implementing FedRAMP, PCI or HIPAA security requirements.
  • Expertise in attacks and mitigation methods across multiple security domains.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
