Minimum Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

About the Job

As a Research Scientist at Google Research, you will set up large-scale tests and deploy innovative ideas while managing deadlines. You will apply the latest theories and methods to develop new products, processes, and technologies across computer science domains such as machine/deep learning, data mining, natural language processing, and performance analysis.

You will contribute by publishing your findings, collaborating with partner universities and technical institutes, and engaging with the research community.

The role involves developing AI tools for third-party Health AI applications, conducting research, evaluating efficacy, releasing open models, and engaging developers through publications and events.

Google Research is building next-generation intelligent systems that power Google products, with projects that combine technical innovation with practical application.

Compensation

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Actual pay is determined by location, skills, experience, and training. For more benefits information, please refer to Google benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Write research papers to share findings and demonstrate impact.
  • Share research trends to grow business across teams.
  • Develop prototypes or run simulations to refine methodologies.
  • Build end-to-end health-focused AI models including pre- and post-training.
