About the Regional Intelligence Manager, Compliance, Strategy and Risk Management Role
Google's Data Center Compliance, Strategy and Risk Management (CSRM) team is dedicated to protecting the people and assets of Google’s global critical infrastructure. As a Regional Intelligence Manager, Compliance, Strategy and Risk Management, you will help foster a culture where personnel safety, physical security, and risk and resiliency are integral to every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will continually identify, evaluate, and monitor enterprise risks affecting business activities, providing leaders with critical decision-making information. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will create innovative strategies and develop industry-leading programs for sustainable effectiveness. The Threat Analysis and Crisis Services (TACS) team, a core pillar of CSRM, provides 24/7 threat monitoring, crisis support, and strategic intelligence to protect Google’s Technical Infrastructure—including people, operations, assets, and supply chain. By leveraging data-driven insights from open sources, public-private partnerships, and third-party intelligence, TACS transforms complex signals into actionable risk assessments. Your work will enable the safe expansion of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) and cloud business growth, ensuring Google’s physical and technical foundation remains resilient against emerging global threats. You will oversee US and Latin American Compliance Strategy, with Spanish language fluency being crucial for assessing Latin American threats and communicating policy to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Security/Intelligence Studies, Risk Management, Political Science, International Relations, Communications, Business Continuity, Business Administration or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience working in a security or threat intelligence position in the public or private sector.
- 5 years of experience in the United States and Latin America focusing on utilizing the intelligence lifecycle, online research tools, and physical security threats and trends.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with stakeholders in the United States and Latin America and assess regional intelligence threats.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Security/Intelligence Studies, Risk Management, Political Science, International Relations, Communications, Business Continuity, Business Administration.
- Certification in Project Management.
- 5 years of experience in the technology sector.
- Understanding of technical infrastructure.
- Ability to communicate in Portuguese fluently to engage with stakeholders in the United States and Latin America and assess regional intelligence threat.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and secure infrastructure within the United States and Latin America through executing and continuously improving the threat analysis and crisis services program for Google’s data centers and technical infrastructure.
- Coordinate timely, accurate, and relevant delivery of threat assessments, intelligence briefings, and short position papers that influence decision making and business continuity.
- Participate in incident response and deliver clear/concise communications documenting impacts and response actions for key stakeholders.
- Assist in defining and executing the threat intelligence program strategy for Google’s technical infrastructure.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze security threats to their business.
