Red Team Security Consultant

About Red Team Security Consultant at Google

This role is part of Google Cloud's Mandiant team, offering dynamic cyber defense, threat intelligence, and incident response. You will perform offensive technical cybersecurity engagements, including red and purple team assessments, adversarial emulation of cyber attacks and penetration testing across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct offensive technical cyber security engagements
• Interface with clients to resolve engagement issues
• Advise on security best practices and remediation
• Collaborate with internal teams to expand service capabilities
• Develop reports and presentations for technical and executive audiences
• Mentor team members and lead engagements from kickoff to remediation

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a related Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in penetration testing and red teaming. Preferred qualifications include offensive security certifications (OSCE, OSEP, OSCP, etc.), experience with tool development, and excellent communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

The US base salary range is $108,000-$155,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation is determined by location, experience, and skills.
