About the Role

The Quantitative UX Researcher, Search at Google helps improve user experience using data-driven methods. You will work with UX Designers, Researchers, Data Scientists, Engineers, and Program Managers to define and measure UX metrics, develop statistical models, and conduct empirical research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and measure quantitative UX goals and metrics.
  • Develop code and statistical models to analyze user experience.
  • Conduct empirical research using quantitative methods.
  • Examine existing data and product designs to generate hypotheses.
  • Prioritize research and communicate actionable insights.

Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 4 years applied research experience, proficiency in programming languages (Python, R, etc.) and survey design with statistics.

Preferred: Master’s/PhD in a related field, experience working with executive leadership, conducted UX research on products, and strong statistical and computational skills.

Location Options

You can choose your preferred working location: Mountain View, CA, New York, NY, or San Francisco, CA.

Salary & Benefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Additional details will be shared during the hiring process.
