Program Manager, Supply Chain Procurement Operation at Google

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- 2 years of experience in supply chain management, program management, procurement, cost negotiations, and data analytics.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or MBA in industrial engineering or related disciplines with a focus in supply chain management.
- Experience with sheets/spreadsheet software, SQL, and scripting.
- Experience in forecasting/planning/supply chain and implementing process improvements.
- Experience interacting with technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.
- Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for automation and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute processes for timely, cost-effective procurement while working with partners and internal cross-functional teams.
- Conceptualize and build capabilities on spend analytics, leveraging advanced data analytics to drive executive alignment and operational efficiency. Drive cost productivity improvements through price negotiations, secondary sourcing, and procurement process improvements.
- Lead sourcing and escalation activities with suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for price, lead-time, or shortage issues. Drive timely request for quotation (RFQ), release of orders, material delivery to hub, root cause analysis for late deliveries, and invoice resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning root cause analysis and materials requirement planning (MRP) investigation. Ensure improvement in material delivery metrics, past due orders, shortage management, invoicing, and supplier management.
- Execute cross-functional program management required for supplier setup and procurement execution with internal and external stakeholders.
