About the Role

The Product Solutions Engineer role at Google involves solving business problems with data and technical solutions. You will act as the interface between Product Management, Engineering, Global Sales, and Operations teams. The role requires managing a portfolio of projects and tools, ensuring smooth operations of internal systems while streamlining processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3 years of experience in one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Python).
  • 3 years of experience with SQL/MySQL and Unix/Linux operating systems/commands.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience managing vendors or technical teams.
  • Background in business process automation or process improvement.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Jira.
  • Ability to manage complex technical projects and coordinate cross-functional teams using data-driven insights.
  • Excellent collaboration, consultation, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage access and ensure availability of critical data and systems in compliance with Google policies.
  • Develop and maintain internal tools and reporting systems along with developer documentation.
  • Oversee a technical extended workforce team in collaboration with Vendor Operations, tracking utilization and ROI.
  • Manage and deliver a portfolio of work spanning stakeholders across gUP Shopping, ensuring clear communication and feedback.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in shopping features and identify automation opportunities.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position with a US base salary range of $123,000-$176,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation is based on role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. More details about benefits can be found on the Google Careers website.
