About the Product Manager, Marketing Engineering Role at Google

This role involves guiding products from conception to launch by bridging technical and business worlds, breaking down complex problems into actionable development steps.
The collaborative environment in Product Management at Google helps bring innovative, world-changing products to market. You will work closely with creative engineers, designers, and marketers to develop technologies improving access to information. Your responsibilities include guiding products through the execution cycle, focusing on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring solutions for users.
Within the Corporate Engineering team, specifically the Marketing Engineering group, you will concentrate on delivering AI solutions across the entire campaign lifecycle. Corp Eng builds world-leading business solutions to scale a more helpful Google for everyone, acting as Google's IT organization. We provide end-to-end solutions, tools, platforms, and experiences for all Googlers, essentially being 'Google for Googlers'.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1).
- Experience with marketing technology and AdTech across paid/owned/earned media.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- 5 years of experience in product management with technical products, integrating solutions such as procurement, reporting, and analytics.
- Experience using AI to transform workflows and engagement with large language models (LLMs) and creating agents.
- Experience in machine learning or marketing measurement approaches.
- Experience working with internal cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, UX/UI, Program Management) and external development partners.
Responsibilities
- Guide the product strategy for assigned products within the portfolio, aiming to simplify operational challenges of Google's multi-regional, multi-product area campaigns, with a focus on approval gates and cross-functional tool integration.
- Identify critical pain points, translate them into innovative solutions, and deliver a seamless, AI-native user experience.
- Define and execute the roadmap for AI-native capabilities within the Marketing Engineering portfolio, including AI.
- Partner with data scientists and engineers to apply innovative machine learning models to engage users and measure marketing impact.
- Ensure marketers have the necessary tools and resources to effectively reach users.
