Overview
The Product Manager II, Google Maps Last Mile, will synthesize user needs, market trends, and technical capabilities to drive a robust roadmap for enhancing user trips through geospatial data. The role involves guiding products from conception to launch, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration with consumer and developer teams.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 5 years in product management or related technical role, and 2 years experience launching technical products.
Preferred qualifications: Advanced degrees in technology or business, experience deploying machine learning models in production, geospatial data expertise, proficiency in SQL, Python, and data platforms, and excellent communication skills.
About the Role
This position is responsible for:
- Guiding every user across Google Maps and Developer APIs using key geospatial data.
- Setting strategy to enhance and maintain a geospatial database including Last Mile details.
- Designing and launching systems for processing complex information, such as parking restrictions.
- Tailoring developer experiences for specific use cases in collaboration with Geo teams.
- Defining and measuring impact with executive communication and performance dashboards.
Compensation & Benefits
The US base salary ranges from $156,000 to $229,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Additional compensation factors include location and relevant experience. Learn more about Google's benefits on their website.
