About the Job
At Google, we put our users first. This role guides products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You will collaborate cross-functionally to break down complex problems into actionable steps, driving product development.
Responsibilities
- Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in-depth.
- Launch new products and features, test performance, and iterate quickly.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on cutting-edge technologies.
- Develop solutions by working across regions, product areas, and functions.
- Work with machine learning teams to improve the Shorts recommendations algorithms.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 years experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 1 year experience in taking technical consumer products from conception to launch.
- Experience in developing and launching products/technologies within AI/ML.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
- 2 years experience working cross-functionally with various teams.
- 1 year experience in software development or engineering.
- Experience with Content Recommendations, Online Experimentation, Machine Learning, Embeddings, Recommendation Models, LLMs, and Large Model Evaluations.
- Familiarity with UGC platforms and internet culture.
Compensation
The US base salary range is $132,000-$189,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Actual pay is determined by many factors including location, skills, and experience.
