The Spatial Flexibility team's goal is to deliver service and resource capacity management that is simple, trustworthy, and efficient. As the Product Manager, Google Cloud Infrastructure, you will lead the strategy and execution for scaling fleet defragmentation efforts. In this cross-functional role and you will be responsible for defining the product idea, strategy, and roadmap to reduce the time and toil associated with moving services and reclaiming resources, while improving the predictability and success rate of defragmentation processes. This involves collaboration with engineering, UX, program management, SRE, product area resource managers (PARMs), central planners, and service owners.

Responsibilities
- Define, own, and lead the product idea, strategy, and roadmap for scaling fleet defragmentation, aligning with spatial flex's overall objectives and user needs.
- Understand the challenges and opportunities in fleet defragmentation, including power constraints, service move complexities, and tooling gaps.
- Engage with key stakeholders (e.g., PARMs, central planners, service owners, SREs, finance) to gather requirements, understand pain points, and validate product direction.
- Translate user needs and business goals into clear and concise product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to guide product development, make trade-off decisions, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
