Practice Architect, Private Equity, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with technical or Go-to-Market (GTM) planning in cloud or in private equity in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience delivering GTM motions and managing GTM processes, analytics, and reporting.
- Experience delivering business and technical presentations to the C-Suite and board level within an organization.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
- Experience working across organizational boundaries, building relationships and ideas to achieve broader organizational goals.
- Experience developing business plays for cloud products leveraging partnerships, and with content creation and narrative development.
- Experience with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space (e.g., generative AI, cloud security, distributed cloud, etc.).
About The Job
As a Global Practice Architect for Private Equity (PE) within Google Cloud, you will bring your experience and thought leadership and operational mindset to help drive outlook, mission, and strategy around the Private Equity Go-To-Market (GTM) approach. Your goal is to design and manage the constructions of plays and bills of materials in order to reach our growth goals. The GTM bill of materials includes sales assets, orchestration models, propensity modeling, field activation, offers and incentives, business value, partners and services strategy and more.
As a member of this team, you will showcase strong leadership capabilities and strategic thinking by designing and orchestrating the right model for Google Cloud’s objectives and the current market landscape. You will partner with key cross-functional stakeholders to develop and iterate on the plan. You will interface directly with customers, both helping them to understand Google Cloud’s offerings and gathering their feedback in order to adapt as needs change.
The Global Practice Architect team orchestrates across numerous contributing teams, and GTM stakeholder organizations, regionally and globally, to facilitate the successful design, implementation and refinement of the overall strategy.

Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Own the construction and implementation of GTM PE plays for your specific product portfolio.
- Drive strategic decision-making by leveraging analysis and insights, aligning project portfolios and Go-to-Market (GTM) plans with company strategy to achieve growth goals for PE.
- Support the design and implementation of integrated GTM PE blueprints across the full ecosystem (industries, solutions, partnerships, services, enablement, compensation), collaborating with Practice Leads to balance efficiency and growth.
- Oversee the GTM PE portfolio, continuously monitoring business performance, diagnosing issues, and recommending new approaches based on results and data-driven insights.
- Conduct ongoing research and benchmarking to incorporate industry best practices, providing actionable insights and recommendations to Practice Lead to inform strategic alignment.
