Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
The Private Equity and Venture Capital Partner team is a newly established business program that drives customer success by partnering with a wide range of investors. They are sellers who leverage their executive influencing skills to partner with investor stakeholders to increase the value that Google media brings to their business and portfolio customers in order to drive revenue growth for Google. They prioritize internal and external stakeholder relationships and collaborate with a portfolio of investors to discover, develop, and execute business growth strategies.

Responsibilities
- Build strategic partnerships and develop annual joint business plans with investors.
- Deliver against ambitious quarterly milestones and growth objectives.
- Grow investor business by driving scalable marketing initiatives and growth across a wide range of portfolio customers.
- Own a portfolio of investors by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for advertising growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
- Influence various levels of executive stakeholders (e.g., General Partners, Vice Presidents, C-level executives) representing different functions within the organization, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, within both internal and external ecosystems to grow new and existing business consistently, while prioritizing and delivering outstanding sales experiences.
- Shape the private equity and venture capital program and broader ecosystem by being a thought partner for investors and startups on strategic initiatives and investor-level planning.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, or business development.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management and experience managing agreements or partnerships.
- Experience working with venture capital/private equity firms.
Preferred qualifications
- MBA, Master’s degree, or other advanced degree.
- Experience strategically assessing and achieving investor success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, compelling narratives, storytelling and competitive selling.
- Knowledge of investor business models (venture capital and private equity), startup development and growth opportunities.
- Knowledge of traditional versus online marketing strategy and tactics.
- Expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on both performance and brand marketing.
- Ability to own a portfolio in a business context, and consistently overachieve goals and business objectives to drive growth.
Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$204,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
