About the Role

The News Program Manager, Global Partnerships at Google leverages program management, time management, and organizational skills to engage key stakeholders within the News Partnerships organization. In this role, you will work with global program and product teams to enable launches and landings of news products, programs, and events while managing complex projects and driving execution and creativity in a constantly changing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, launch, execute and support regional news programs and products.
  • Drive program strategy with clear goals and measurable outcomes.
  • Prioritize budgets, programs, and workstreams based on strategy shifts.
  • Collaborate with regional and central teams to align programming strategies.
  • Prepare and present findings to executive management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years in program or project management.
  • 5 years managing cross-functional projects.
  • Experience in the news industry or on news/media products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in budgeting, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, project management and analytical skills.

Compensation & Benefits

This full-time role offers a US base salary range of $130,000-$191,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Actual offer is based on role, level, location, skills, and experience.
