About the Role
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000 - $149,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Execute the deployment, maintenance, and scalable operation of private data networks worldwide.
- Monitor network performance to anticipate needs, triage issues, and orchestrate repairs with appropriate teams.
- Utilize established design standards to plan for capacity migrations and infrastructure additions.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate network documentation, including diagrams, designs, and operational plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost-effective solutions and adopt new technologies.
- Direct temporary vendor resources and complete tactical operational tasks as assigned by team leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Networking, Telecommunications, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Network Implementation Engineering-related occupation.
- Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:
- Installation and commissioning of Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems and Internet Protocol (IP) router
- Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) or Coherent Optical system design and troubleshooting
- TCP/IP routing and switching or IP networking system design for network installation and troubleshooting
- Wide Area Network (WAN) or MPLS protocol operations for deployment and troubleshooting
