About the Role
At Google, our Mixed Methods UX Researcher helps teams understand users through quantitative and qualitative studies. In this role, you partner with UX designers, product managers, engineers, and leadership to collect and provide data-driven recommendations that improve user experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in an applied research setting.
- Expertise with quantitative and qualitative research methods including usability testing, log analysis, and surveys.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in a related field.
- 5 years of conducting UX research on products and engaging with executive leadership.
- 3 years of experience in project management and cross-functional work.
- Proven experience in various product spaces and research settings.
- Strong communication skills to translate research findings into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams that are user-centric and data-driven.
- Own and drive qualitative and quantitative UX research roadmaps.
- Engage stakeholders to formulate relevant research questions.
- Create scalable frameworks to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Develop insights that drive the creation of new and improved Google products.
Working Locations & Compensation
Candidates can choose their preferred location: San Francisco, CA, USA; Mountain View, CA, USA; or New York, NY, USA. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $151,000-$222,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
