As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical and engineering support to a global team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) specialized in the delivery of dark fiber and leased capacity from third-party network providers servicing Google's long-haul and metro networks.Drive program health by defining key performance metrics, monitoring for deviations, and implementing corrective actions to ensure global connectivity goals are met.Evaluate and recommend policies and procedures of network operations, including Bulk Fiber deployments, IP Outside-of-Band (IPOOB) infrastructure, and the management of cross-connections and disconnections.Enhance engineering processes to improve the efficiency and reliability of capacity delivery across geographic regions.
