About the Role
As a Lead Software Engineer Google Cloud Security at Google, you will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our security solutions. You will be responsible for writing and testing code for product or system development, leading design reviews, reviewing code from peers, contributing to product documentation, and debugging complex system issues.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages; 3 years building software for data privacy or security (identity and access management); 3 years testing, maintaining, or launching software products; and 1 year in software design and architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field; 5 years working with data structures and algorithms; 1 year in a technical leadership role; and experience developing accessible technologies.

The Infrastructure Team focuses on building and maintaining essential development tools.
Responsibilities
- Write and test development code for products or systems.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and technology decisions.
- Review code for best practices, style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to product documentation and educational content.
- Triage and debug product or system issues with detailed analysis.
