About the Role
As the Lead Group Product Manager - Databases & Analytics at Google Cloud, you will guide products from conception to launch while connecting technical and business perspectives. You will work cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and marketers to deliver innovative solutions that improve access to information for millions of users worldwide.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 10 years in product management or a related technical role.
- 5 years in launching technical products from conception to launch.
- 5 years in people management with a technical focus.
- Experience in databases, analytics, big data, or related areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a technology or business field.
- 7 years working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, finance, and sales.
- 7 years in business functions like strategic marketing, business operations, or consulting.
- 5 years delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
- 5 years in software development or engineering.
- Interest and knowledge in accessibility best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and create Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) with partner teams.
- Define product roadmaps and secure buy-in for product vision.
- Validate market size, user opportunity, and revenue potential.
- Define, collect, and track both quantitative and qualitative product/business metrics.

Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time role is $227,000-$320,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation factors include work location, skills, experience, and education. Benefits details are available on the Google Careers site.
