As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. The Creative Expression team owns the editing journeys in Photos and provides users powerful tools to edit their content as they see fit. Recently, the Creative Expression team has partnered on launching a set of new creativity features leveraging AI, and the team is looking for talented engineers to help deliver these features.
Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. Photos is one of the most sought-after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. We are dedicated to making Google experiences centered around the user.
Responsibilities
- Develop product or system code.
- Analyze and resolve product or system issues by debugging, tracking and assessing impact on hardware, network and service operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design, build and deploy new features in Photos iOS application.
- Build user-facing features for Google Photos iOS.
- Monitor and analyze key metrics from launches and experiments.
