About the Job
Google is seeking a Head of Search Strategic Insights and Analysis to lead a team of experienced data scientists. In this role, you will leverage data-driven insights to shape product strategies and decision-making, influencing Search leads and cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, UXR, and Finance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
- 13 years of experience using analytics, statistical analysis, and coding (Python, R, SQL) or 10 years with a Master’s degree.
- 5 years experience as a people manager in a technical leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a quantitative field.
- 15 years of analytics experience and 6 years in a technical leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced analysis using SQL, R, and Python.
- Lead projects from problem definition to actionable insights.
- Develop and implement analytical/statistical models and visualizations.
- Oversee cross-functional project timelines and define operational objectives.
- Direct and influence team contributions to drive project success.
Compensation
The US base salary range is $227,000-$320,000 plus bonus, equity and benefits. Compensation is determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education.
