About the Role: GTM Applied AI Architect at Google Cloud
As a GTM Applied AI Architect at Google, you will be a pivotal force at the intersection of innovation and execution within Google Cloud's commercial engine. This role demands a direct builder who thrives on rapidly transforming concepts into tangible AI-powered solutions. You will operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, taking full ownership of projects from inception to deployment, translating complex business needs into practical applications that generate significant business value.
You will collaborate closely with Google Cloud's Go-To-Market (GTM) teams, delving into their most critical challenges to design, prototype, and ship novel AI solutions. Your work will directly empower sales and operations teams, optimizing their workflows and allowing them to focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience as a software engineer, machine learning engineer, solutions or customer engineer working on user-facing systems.
- Experience in building and shipping AI/ML applications or prototypes.
- Experience with Python and SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Experience building or prototyping Large Language Model (LLM)-powered applications and workflows using techniques like prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector embeddings, and function calling.
- Experience with agentic AI principles and building AI agents, including emerging frameworks like Agent Development Kit (ADK), A2A, MCP, etc.
- Knowledge of building applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with Vertex AI (including Gemini models).
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and iterate on AI prototypes, applications, and tools using Google's AI stack to accelerate Google Cloud’s GTM efforts.
- Embed with Sales, Operations, and Strategy teams to identify use cases, understand their workflows, and build solutions that address their needs.
- Develop and deploy solutions for key focus areas, including the AI-powered demand generation platform, contributing directly to pipeline goals and operational efficiency.
- Partner with other engineering and operations teams to evolve prototypes into enterprise-ready solutions integrated into core GTM workflows.
- Develop frameworks to measure the Return on Investment (ROI) of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, quantifying their impact on pipeline, productivity, and other key business metrics to inform future development.
