About the Role
At Google, our users come first. As a Group Product Manager Contributor Trust, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by bridging technical and business perspectives. You will break down complex problems into actionable steps that drive product development.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities include:
- Defining product goals, roadmap, and success metrics through data analysis.
- Providing cross-functional leadership across analysts, operations, legal, policy, PR, privacy, UGC, infrastructure, and more.
- Collaborating with Machine Learning and Platform teams.
- Taking complete ownership and autonomy in solving real-world problems for Google products.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role, 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch, and 5 years of people management with technical leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Excellent data analysis skills and a curiosity about data.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills (including SQL).
- Interest in Applied Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
About the Team
The Geo team is focused on building the most accurate, comprehensive, and useful maps for our users through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, and Google Maps Platform. The team also empowers developers by integrating Google Maps platforms into enhancing apps and websites.
