Overview

Google is seeking a Google Play Interaction Designer to create intuitive, user-centered experiences for billions of users. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to build user flows, wireframes, and high fidelity prototypes.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; 4 years in product design or UX; experience designing across multiple platforms; and a portfolio or website showcasing relevant work.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent experience; 8 years in product design or UX; 3 years in cross-functional collaboration; 2 years leading design projects; and 1 year working with executive leaders. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills are essential.

About the Role

As the Google Play Interaction Designer, you will manage design processes from concept to execution, translating user needs and business requirements into engaging experiences. You will work closely with UX teams to integrate feedback and refine design centered changes for both desktop and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Develop wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Incorporate user feedback and evolving business requirements into design updates.
  • Advocate for design improvements and refinements throughout the product lifecycle.

Compensation & Benefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Compensation details reflect base salary only.
