As a key contributor to driving this critical work forward for Alphabet and Google, the President and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) is responsible for the Company’s corporate investments and investment vehicles, including GV and CapG, the Other Bets investment portfolio, Real Estate and Workplace Services, and other company infrastructure. The President and CIO regularly engage with policymakers and regulators about the company’s business and impact across markets related to economic growth, job creation, and opportunity. The President and CIO also oversees the company's philanthropic efforts, including work to expand access to digital infrastructure, and support education and workforce development initiatives globally.

Within the Office of the President and CIO, the Global Engagement team drives high-priority, complex initiatives and manages critical global engagements for Alphabet's leadership. This team ensures seamless operational execution and strategic alignment across Alphabet's critical external commitments, internal cross-functional programs, and confidential strategic projects. • Collaborate across the Global Engagement team and with cross-functional partners, primarily around public policy engagements, and secondarily private sector and civil society engagements, to deliver clear updates on relevant developments (e.g., policy or company-specific).
