About the Generative Media AI Lead Role at Google Cloud

As a member of the Google Cloud team, you will inspire leading companies, schools, and government agencies to work smarter with Google tools like Google Workspace, Search, and Chrome. You will advocate for the innovative power of our products to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile. Your guiding light is doing what’s right for the customer, meeting them exactly where they are and providing the best solutions for innovation. Using your passion for Google products, you will help spread the magic of Google to organizations around the world.

As the Generative Media AI Lead, you will spearhead our EMEA sales pursuits for Generative Media (GenMedia), reporting directly to the MD, EMEA AI Sales & GTM. This role is designed for an expert who embodies the "workflow DNA" of a creative agency combined with the sales prowess of an enterprise tech leader. You will bridge the gap between high-level GenMedia GTM strategy and field-level sales execution by connecting Product, Sales, Cross Product-Area, Field, and the GenMedia community.

Your mission is to lead a specialized "hunter" team, driving the acquisition of new customers and generating incremental revenue in untapped market segments. You are responsible for transforming how the C-Suite views and invests in GenMedia. Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

  • Execute EMEA GenMedia initiatives, directing a broader go-to-market strategy for growth while leveraging Google’s vast teams and resources.
  • Win direct sales pursuits with key clients in Fortune 500 companies, Media & Entertainment, Media Independent Software Vendors (ISV’s), and Ad Agencies, aligning with C-Suite and Enterprise Buyers for GenMedia.
  • Analyze trends across numerous customer engagements to identify core feature gaps and blockers that impede horizontal growth.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Cloud AI offerings and business best practices to ensure Google Cloud remains a trusted partner in the GenMedia space.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for GenMedia at the executive level, engaging Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) to explain the transformational impact of AI on creative production.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience leading GTM/Sales and working with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
  • 8 years of experience delivering presentations at the executive/Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) level.
  • Experience in business development or account management, specifically driving customer adoption of innovative solutions in AI or creative technology fields (e.g., Adobe, Figma).
  • Experience working with emerging GenMedia tools, infrastructure, and ecosystem players.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Creative Agency operations or media production, with an understanding of how GenMedia transforms traditional creative pipelines.
  • Experience guiding business leaders through the selection and deployment of GenMedia capabilities.
  • Understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in the media.
  • Ability to move between high-profile executive engagements and tactical, execution-based tasks to prove the model.
  • Ability to anticipate market shifts and proactively develop solutions to unblock sales channels.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to stay calm and effective while working in a high-pressure, global go-to-market environment.
