Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in EHS management systems and in managing EHS compliance with environmental programs (e.g., emissions, wastewater, etc.).
- 2 years of experience in program management.
- Experience leading and delivering cross-functional projects.
- Ability to travel up to 25% as required.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for safety and environmental sustainability.

As an Environmental, Health and Safety Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the EHS program life-cycle, identifying and driving business and operational improvements aligned with Google.
- Define, scope, and lead cross-functional and cross-organizational challenges, adjusting programs.
- Monitor and communicate the program progress, risks, and mitigations. Work with partner teams to manage changes and align stakeholders.
- Have an understanding of the EHS domain and regulatory landscape, stay informed of industry best practices and trends.
- Engage in community contributions to improve and sustain Google's culture and operations.
