Job Overview
Google is seeking an Engineering Analyst Trust and Safety Search to work on protecting users and partners from abuse across Google products. In this role, you will apply your analytical skills and technical expertise to measure, identify, and mitigate trust risks in Google Search.
Benefits and Compensation
This full-time US based role offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, sick time, maternity leave, baby bonding leave, and 13 paid holidays. Base salary is provided within the range of $126,000-$181,000 with bonus, equity, and additional benefits.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis and project management.
- Preferred: Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Experience with SQL, R, Python, or C++ and machine learning systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
About the Role
As an Engineering Analyst on the Trust & Safety team, you will work with Search engineers, product managers, and UX specialists to build automated solutions and develop robust countermeasures against harmful content. Your work will involve analysis of large datasets, collaboration across teams, and development of prompt-based AI raters for evaluating content safety.
