About the Role
The Engineering Analyst, Trust and Safety, Ads Account Takeover at Google is a dynamic role focused on assessing and addressing threats against Google Ads accounts in the hijacking space. You will work closely with engineering, product, and Ads Safety teams to design and implement systems that detect new threat vectors and enhance user and advertiser safety.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience plus 5 years of experience in data analysis and project management. Skills include identifying trends, creating summary statistics, and managing project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree or relevant technical experience in fields like computer science, engineering, math, physics, or cyber security, along with 5 years of experience with SQL, R, Python, or C++ and experience in actionable insights, root cause analysis, or security policy enforcement.
Responsibilities
- Provide detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis of Ads takeover threats.
- Design and build early warning alert systems based on threat research.
- Apply security intelligence to counter new adversarial campaigns.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement defense mechanisms.
- Train teams and drive tooling improvements related to Ads Safety.
Additional Information
