About The Job
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and enhance product engagement.
- Lead the strategy and execution of developer programs to drive community growth and adoption.
- Serve as a domain authority on user experience and technology trends for internal and external partners.
- Represent the interests and feedback of partners to product teams to inform development roadmaps.
- Provide critical input on products and programs to guide continuous improvement and innovation. Provide critical input to guide the technical direction of strategic partners engage the external community by facilitating workshops and presenting at conferences and events.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Developer Relations Engineer-related occupation. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field, and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Developer Relations Engineer-related occupation.
- Position requires 1 year of experience in the following: Communication of complex technical concepts to developer audiences, including technical writing or public speaking at technical conferences. Coding or scripting for developer-focused applications. Systems design or technical architecture for developer-facing platforms. Technical issue triage or root cause analysis using debugging tools. Prioritization of user and customer needs for solution design, including collecting product feedback or user journey mapping.
About The Job (Compensation)
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,550 - $198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
