About the Data Cloud Partner Manager Role at Google

We are actively seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Data Cloud Partner Manager to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving net new business growth through strategic partnerships, accelerating the ramp-up of existing customer engagements, and fostering deep collaboration within our data cloud business organization. You will play a key part in expanding Google Cloud's market presence, ensuring our partners are fully equipped to effectively position, promote, and accelerate our exceptional data cloud solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with foundational cloud technologies and service provider ecosystems and business models.
  • 8 years of experience working in a partner or channel manager role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with solutions providers, system integrators, or managed service providers.
  • Experience presenting to executive-level audiences, including presenting at customer, partner, or industry events.
  • Experience with consumption business models, cloud economics, and partner agreement constructs.
  • Understanding of the data cloud and data and analytics landscape, including concepts such as data warehousing, data lakes, business intelligence, machine learning, Vertex AI, AI, and big data technologies.
  • Ability to drive results and to execute through ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive data cloud with partner strategies to achieve optimal data for AI customer value in collaboration with regional data and engineering business teams.
  • Develop and execute engaged takeout strategies leveraging the partner ecosystem to displace incumbent solutions, highlighting our unique differentiators and partner-led advantages.
  • Drive incremental up-promote and cross-promote data cloud business generation with partners.
  • Enhance partner attach data cloud growth across pre and post-close opportunities.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to partner-driven business growth, pipeline, and enablement activities.
