About the Role
The Data Center Services Manager at Google leads complex, multi-disciplinary projects spanning mission-critical facilities to data centers and chip fabrication plants. Working in a hybrid workplace, this role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project schedules, identifying risks, and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders across global regions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience in program/project management across global regions
- 5 years in a leadership role
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications
- 8 years managing cross-functional projects
- Experience with construction planning, scheduling, and commissioning
- Expertise in design, construction, and commissioning of facilities
- Experience with medium and low voltage systems and facilities equipment
- Experience in managing changing capital projects
- Understanding of start-up and commissioning processes
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with external stakeholders including vendors, trades, and commissioning agents
- Execute project delivery strategy and communicate with internal teams
- Drive alignment on milestones, workflows, and critical project paths
- Oversee schedule and cost control with focus on safety and quality
- Lead design, construction, and capital project support for data center construction
- Develop and mentor teams of engineers and project managers
- Serve as a key partner for vendor and contractor development
Compensation
US base salary range is $174,000-$258,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Additional details are shared during the hiring process.
