About the Role
As a Data Analytics Sales Specialist at Google Cloud, you will be instrumental in growing our Data Analytics business by cultivating and expanding relationships with both new and existing customers. Your role will involve collaborating closely with clients to deliver tangible business value, showcase product capabilities, and provide a thorough understanding of key business use cases. You will act as a solution lead within the sales organization, managing day-to-day interactions with cross-functional team members. Furthermore, you will drive go-to-market strategies and sales plays, manage campaigns, and offer crucial feedback to Product and Global Solutions teams to shape our product roadmap. Your responsibilities include guiding customers' cloud and Data Analytics strategy and enabling their digital transformation journey. You will lead with empathy, seeking innovative methods to amplify your impact and that of the team, ultimately driving greater value for Google Cloud.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, navigating complex business cycles, identifying strategic solution use cases, and influencing the long-term direction of key accounts.
- Achieve and exceed sales quotas and strategic business and growth objectives, including accurate forecasting and reporting for your assigned territory.
- Collaborate with Google account teams and cross-functional departments (e.g., Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Channels) to devise go-to-market strategies, drive pipeline and business expansion, finalize agreements, deeply understand customer needs, and ensure an exceptional prospect and customer experience.
- Develop analytics solution roadmaps tailored to customer needs, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their unique and complex business and technical requirements. Manage multiple customer opportunities concurrently, comprehending each customer's technology landscape, strategic objectives, growth plans, business drivers, key stakeholders, and their potential for business transformation through our technologies.
