Overview

Google is hiring a Customer Engineering Strategy and Operations Lead to partner with the Customer Engineering leadership in APAC. This role supports the Head of Strategy and Operations, working closely with the VP and Directors, to drive growth initiatives, operational efficiencies, and data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with APAC Customer Engineering leadership to develop strategy.
  • Develop and execute initiatives to accelerate business growth.
  • Build dashboards, investigative models and reporting tools.
  • Own key processes including business reviews and planning.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational productivity through quantitative analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years experience in business operations, data analysis, business intelligence and insights OR 4 years with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with executives in an advisory role and managing teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Cloud or Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) businesses.
  • Background in customer engineering or pre-business technical team support.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau) and spreadsheets.
  • Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in changing environments and navigate ambiguity.

About the Role

This position is part of the Business Strategy & Operations organization, which delivers analytics, cross-functional alignment, and operational improvements to drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives. It is a key role in guiding APAC Customer Engineering performance and operational flow.
