Overview
The Customer Engineer Cloud AI Platform position at Google Cloud involves leveraging cloud native architecture and integrating AI models with enterprise data sources. You will act as the technical authority on integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence into secure, data-connected solutions, and deliver enterprise-grade solutions for clients worldwide.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a customer-facing or support role with cloud native architecture.
- Expertise in architecting AI integrated solutions using patterns like RAG, Text-to-SQL, and semantic search.
- Proficient in coding with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or Java.
- Experience with search systems including retrieval, ranking, and search quality tuning.
- Skilled in presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with agent frameworks like LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or Google AI Agent Development Kit.
- Familiar with iPaaS, API Gateways, or Enterprise Service Buses (ESBs) in cloud contexts.
- Understanding of Application Integration Governance, Security, and OAuth2 flows.
- Knowledge of observability concepts including distributed tracing, logging, and audit logging.
- Experience evaluating Model and Agent Quality with functional metrics.
- Familiarity with integration patterns using OpenAPI and Model Context Protocol.

Responsibilities
- Drive technical wins for Gemini Enterprise workloads through customer engagement.
- Recommend integration strategies and enterprise architectures on Google Cloud.
- Provide technical consultation and act as a trusted advisor.
- Work with Google Cloud products to demo and prototype integrations.
- Engage in travel to customer sites, events, and conferences as needed.
